Based in the hilly environs of Worcester, Massachusetts, Olivia J. Kiers is a poet, artist, arts writer, and museum professional. She holds an MA in the History of Art and Architecture from Boston University, and a BA in French and Studio Arts from the University of Virginia.

Olivia was the poetry co-editor of Crack the Spine literary magazine from 2018-2020, and the assistant editor for Art New England magazine from 2015-2018. Her poetry has appeared in several litmags and reviews. Her art criticism has appeared in Big Red And Shiny, The Boston Art Review, The Rib, and others. She is a regular catalog essayist for the Art Center Gallery at Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA.

In her art, she works mainly with linoleum block prints, acrylics, and digital painting, and occasionally in other media. Olivia has also been known to paint murals in coffee shops and carve decorations for pipe organs. She was one of dozens of local artists who participated in the Celebrity Series’ Street Pianos Boston 2016 public art project.
